Why should I warm up my domain

/ Why should I warm up my domain

Understanding how to warm up a domain is critical for anyone involved in email marketing, sales, or recruiting. A properly warmed-up domain can significantly increase email delivery speed and overall campaign success. This process involves gradually increasing the volume of e-mails sent from the new domain, thereby strengthening its reputation with Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

Domain Reputation

Each domain has its own reputation. The type of domain reputation depends on many factors. One factor is your age. This does not happen automatically. Also, when you register a new domain, it is considered suspicious. Spam filters check the age of a domain, and when it is less than a month old, they mark it as suspicious. This is done by default. And when you send messages from a suspicious domain, your messages are also treated as suspicious. So, it's best to wait at least three months before you start cold emailing.

EmailsAndSurveys Domain Warm Up Service

When you move the sender domain to a new/different IP address, it effectively resets the reputation, even if the sending domain remains the same. Your reputation is tied to your IP address, not your domain. If you use a shared IP address, your sending reputation is the combined reputation of all senders using that IP address.

How Does Domain Warming Work?

EmailsAndSurveys will send procreated email templates to the major Email Providers; Microsoft, Gmail, ATT within our network and we will respond and click on the templates to create engagement.  The feedback will give confidence to the Email Gods you are a good citizen.  Please do not abuse this privilege. If you are a spammer, EmailsAndSurveys does not want your business.

What Happens When I send my First Campaign?

Warming up your domain is optional, but highly recommended. Especially if you have a dedicated IP.

If you Opt out of Warming Up Your Domain

EmailsAndSurveys will still send your first campaign out slowly. With each bounce, it will slow down more. If you have more then 6% bounces, please see this link about cleaning your email list.  Your first campaign will go out at the speed of email send rates as recommended by SMTP.com. You can not just show up, up load 100k email addresses and let them rip. Once your first campaign has successfully completed.  The second campaign will be released at the safest speed possible for each mail provider.
